Move File to Specified Folder disk.file.moveto

Scope: disk

Who can execute the method: a user with "Edit" permission for the file and "Add" permission for the target folder.

The method disk.file.moveto moves a file to the specified folder.

You cannot move a file to a folder from a different storage.

Method Parameters

Required parameters are marked with *

Name `type`	Description
id* `integer`	Identifier of the file
targetFolderId* `integer`	Identifier of the folder to which the file should be moved

File and folder identifiers can be obtained using the disk.storage.getchildren or disk.folder.getchildren methods.

Name `type`	Description
result `array`	Array containing file fields. Returns `false` if the file and folder are in different storages.
ID `integer`	Identifier of the file
NAME `string`	Name of the file
CODE `string`	Symbolic code of the file
STORAGE_ID `integer`	Identifier of the storage where the file is located
TYPE `enum`	Type of the object
PARENT_ID `integer`	Identifier of the parent folder
DELETED_TYPE `enum`	Deletion status of the object. Possible values: `0` — not deleted `3` — in the trash `4` — deleted along with the parent folder
GLOBAL_CONTENT_VERSION `integer`	Incremental version counter of the file
FILE_ID `integer`	Internal value of the file identifier
SIZE `integer`	Size of the file in bytes
CREATE_TIME `datetime`	Date and time of file creation
UPDATE_TIME `datetime`	Date and time of the last file update
DELETE_TIME `datetime`	Date and time the file was moved to the trash

Name `type`	Description
error `string`	String error code. It may consist of digits, Latin letters, and underscores
error_description `error_description`	Textual description of the error. The description is not intended to be shown to the end user in its raw form

Possible Error Codes

`ERROR_ARGUMENT`	Invalid value of parameter	Required parameter `id` or `targetFolderId` is missing.
`ERROR_NOT_FOUND`	Could not find entity with id `X`	File with the specified `id` or folder with the specified `targetFolderId` not found.
`DISK_OBJ_22000`	A file with this name already exists	A file with this name already exists.
`DISK_FILE_22007`	Exclusive lock	The file is open for editing by another user.
`ACCESS_DENIED`	Access denied	Insufficient permissions to move the file.

Statuses and System Error Codes

HTTP Status: 20x, 40x, 50x

The errors described below may occur when calling any method.

`405`	`ERROR_BATCH_METHOD_NOT_ALLOWED` Method is not allowed for batch usage	The current method is not allowed to be called using batch
`400`	`ERROR_BATCH_LENGTH_EXCEEDED` Max batch length exceeded	The maximum length of parameters passed to the batch method has been exceeded
`401`	`NO_AUTH_FOUND` Wrong authorization data	Invalid access token or webhook code
